Requisitos de trabajo

  • Develop and maintain engineering software for use in the energy industry;
  • Analyze requirements and architecture to perform design and implementation of software applications;
  • Prioritize and plan work to accomplish goals in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmen;
  • Provide high-quality work in a timely manner with some direction from senior technical staff;
  • Demonstrate understanding and adherence to the software development process;
  • Employ software engineering methods and practices to create artifacts to support the implementation and support of software products;
  • Evaluate the existing implementation of a large, complex legacy system to determine and proceed with optimal resolution of issues and implementation of enhancements;
  • Resolve customer issues with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements;
  • Work effectively with other developers, QA, support, and documentation staff on an Agile Scrum team to create quality software that is accurate, robust, and maintainable;
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external customers to translate needs into requirements, to explain and resolve technical issues, and to present technical solutions;
  • Understands and complies with all safety rules and company policies;
  • Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Experiencia

  • Previous experience as a Software Developer;
  • English proficiency;
  • Understanding of Object Orientated Design and Principles
  • Experience with C#/.NET (data structures, algorithms, etc)
  • Experience developing front end/back end applications for Windows environment (client/server)
  • Experience creating and executing automated tests
  • Experience developing and using REST APIs
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Working knowledge of Agile Framework and Scrum Methodologies
  • Knowledge of Networking and network protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, etc)
  • Strong diagnostic skills to analyze, track, trouble-shoot, and solve complex problems and design appropriate solutions
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to foster teamwork
